Samuel Andreyev: Complete Piano Pieces

A complete piano cycle shaped by memory, resonance, fragmentation, and musical time.

A long-term collaboration between performer and composer, revealing an entire piano world with unusual precision and expressive depth.

A long-term collaboration between Dina Pysarenko and composer Samuel Andreyev, this project brings together the composer’s complete solo piano output in a single large-scale cycle.

Written over more than a decade, these works explore memory, resonance, fragmentation, and musical time. They inhabit a highly personal sound world: at once intimate and exacting, poetic in atmosphere and rigorous in construction.

Far from virtuosity conceived as display, the cycle demands a refined command of colour, touch, resonance, and temporal perception. Several pieces were written for Dina Pysarenko, whose close collaboration with Andreyev has helped shape the living performance identity of this demanding and unusually concentrated body of piano music.

Designed for contemporary music festivals, recital series, and listening contexts attentive to the piano as a field of resonance and thought, the programme offers a rare opportunity to hear a complete piano universe unfold as one coherent artistic statement.
